1. Service Description
Permit Matching is a licensed California general contractor (CSLB licensed, bonded & insured). We provide residential design-build services across Greater Los Angeles and Southern California — design, permitting, and construction performed by our own crews. The construction agreement, including scope, price, and schedule, is between you and Permit Matching. Our service includes:
- Identifying homeowners with active building permits through publicly available records, in order to offer our services
- Conducting consultation calls to understand project requirements
- Designing your project and preparing construction drawings
- Pulling the permit under our CSLB license and managing plan check and inspections
- Building the project with our own in-house crews
Important clarifications:
- Construction work is performed by Permit Matching under our own CSLB license and contract with you
- The scope, price, schedule, and warranty for your project are governed by the written construction contract you sign with us
- Estimates, timelines, and ranges shown on this website are general information only and are not a contract until set out in that signed agreement
2. No Warranties or Guarantees
Construction work performed by Permit Matching is covered by the workmanship warranty set out in your signed construction contract, and by the warranties required of a licensed contractor under California law. That contract, not this website, governs the warranty for your project.
This website and its content are provided for general information. Except as expressly set out in your construction contract, Permit Matching makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:
- The accuracy or completeness of cost ranges, timelines, and other general information shown on this website
- Any estimate or schedule prior to a signed construction contract
- Project outcomes that depend on factors outside our control, such as permit-authority review times and unforeseen site conditions
The scope, price, schedule, and warranty for your specific project are controlled by the written construction contract between you and Permit Matching.
3. Limitation of Liability
This section applies to your use of this website and its general information. Liability arising out of construction work performed by Permit Matching is governed by your signed construction contract and by applicable California law, and nothing here limits any right you have under that contract or that law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in connection with this website Permit Matching shall not be liable for:
- Reliance on cost ranges, timelines, or other general information shown on this website before a project scope and price are set in a signed contract
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website
- Interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies in the website itself
You acknowledge that Permit Matching performs your project under our own CSLB license and that the terms of that work — including remedies for defects, delays, or disputes — are governed by the construction contract you sign with us.
4. How We Are Compensated
The initial consultation is free. You will never be charged for:
- The initial consultation call
- An estimate for your project
- Project guidance or support before you sign a contract
You pay Permit Matching directly for the design and construction services we perform, as set out in one detailed, line-item construction contract. The scope and price are spelled out before work begins.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Permit Matching and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.
6. Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes arising from these terms or our service will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
